These Terms govern your use of Race Strategist. Please read them — by creating an account or paying a subscription, you agree to them.
“Race Strategist” is an independently-operated paid web service based in Lithuania, EU. References to “we”, “us” or “our” mean Race Strategist. References to “you” mean you, the user. Our contact address is info@racestrategist.com.
Race Strategist is a paid web tool for players of the official F1 Fantasy game. Subject to your subscription, the service provides: race-weekend predictions, Monte Carlo simulations, a budget-aware team optimizer, an AI coach (Pro tier), and price-change forecasts. We may add, remove, or change features over time.
Race Strategist is an independent project. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Formula 1, the FIA, Formula One Licensing BV, Liberty Media, Genius Sports, F1 Fantasy, or any team. All trade names referenced on the site (driver names, constructor names, F1 Fantasy itself) belong to their respective owners.
You must be at least 16 years old. If you’re using the service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to do so.
You’re responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials safe and for the activity under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use.
Subscriptions are sold via Stripe and renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle (monthly, quarterly, or yearly) until cancelled. Prices and tiers are listed on the /pricing page. Promotional pricing (“LAUNCH PROMO”) may be time-limited and changed for new sign-ups; if your subscription is on a promotional price you keep that price for as long as the subscription stays continuously active.
You can cancel anytime via the Stripe Customer Portal (avatar menu → Billing → Manage subscription). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access until then.
EU consumer right of withdrawal — if you’re a consumer in the EU, you have 14 days from your first paid subscription to withdraw and receive a full refund, provided you have not actively used the service during that window. By starting to use the predictions, optimizer, or AI coach you waive this withdrawal right (per Directive 2011/83/EU art. 16(m)).
Failed payments: if a renewal payment fails, we’ll retry per Stripe’s schedule and email you. Access continues during the retry window; after final failure your subscription is cancelled automatically.
VAT, sales tax, and other consumption taxes are calculated by Stripe Tax based on your billing location and added or included as required by law.

We may rate-limit, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these rules. Material breaches may forfeit any remaining subscription period.
If you connect your F1 Fantasy account, you authorise us to log in on your behalf using the credentials you provide and to read your team, predictions, and league memberships. F1 Fantasy may detect automated logins and rate-limit or suspend your access — that’s between you and F1 Fantasy; we have no control over their decisions. You can disconnect anytime via your account page.
Pro-tier users have access to an AI assistant powered by Anthropic’s Claude model. Responses are generated on the fly and may contain mistakes — they are advisory, not financial advice. We don’t guarantee the AI’s accuracy. Don’t rely on AI outputs alone for real-money decisions.
The site, source code (where not open-source), models, and design are ours. Your data (your team, predictions, settings) remains yours; you grant us a limited licence to process it as needed to deliver the service. The licence ends when you delete your account.
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. Predictions are statistical models; actual race outcomes can and do diverge from them. Race Strategist is not investment advice or a betting tip service. Use at your own discretion.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages.
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for fraud, gross negligence, or for any liability that cannot be limited by law (notably, EU consumer-protection rights remain unaffected).
Either party may terminate at any time:
On termination, your access to paid features ends. We retain the data we’re required to retain by law (subscription history for tax) and delete the rest within 90 days.
We’ll email you and post a notice on the site at least 14 days before any material change to these Terms. Continuing to use the service after the new Terms take effect counts as acceptance. If you don’t agree, cancel before the effective date.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Vilnius, Lithuania. EU consumer protection law gives you additional rights and may allow you to bring a claim in your home jurisdiction; nothing in this section overrides those rights.
